Pay Scales

Scientist ‘C’: Level 11 PB-3 ₹ 15600 – 39100 + GP ₹ 6600/-

Scientist ‘B’: Level 10 PB-3 ₹ 15600 – 39100 + GP ₹ 5400/-

Administrative Officer: Level 07 PB-3 ₹ 9300 – 34800 + GP ₹ 4600/-

Technical Assistant: Level 05 PB-1 ₹ 5200 – 20200 + GP ₹ 2800/-

Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Level 04 PB-1 ₹ 5200 – 20200 + GP ₹ 2400/-

Draftsman: Level 04 PB-1 ₹ 5200 – 20200 + GP ₹ 2400/-

Lower Division Clerk: Level 02 PB-1 ₹ 5200 – 20200 + GP ₹ 1900/-

MTS: Level 02 PB-1 ₹ 5200 – 20200 + GP ₹ 1900/-

Field cum Laboratory Attendant: Level 01 PB-1 ₹ 5200 – 20200 + GP ₹ 1800/-

Educational Qualifications

Scientist ‘C’: Ph.D degree in or any allied subjects of Geoscience, with Four years post-doctoral research experience.

Scientist ‘B’: First class in M.Sc. in Geology, Geophysics or any allied subject of Geosciences with 3 years of relevant experience.

Administrative Officer: A 1st class or high second class degree. Minimum 10 years’ experience.

Technical Assistant: B. Sc. or Diploma in Engineering /Tech. of minimum 3 years duration (or equivalent).

Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Degree from any recognized University or equivalent with working knowledge in computer.

Draftsman: Matriculation + ITI Trade Certificate.

Lower Division Clerk: Intermediate or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University; Skill Test Norms: Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.

Driver: Pass in 10th standard or equivalent qualification. Possession of a valid driving license for motor car. Knowledge of motor mechanism (The candidate should be able to rectify minor defects in vehicle); Experience of driving a motor car for at least 3 years; Qualifying the prescribed Trade Test.

Field cum Laboratory Attendant / Field Attendant: High School (Matriculation Pass). Knowledge of Computer.

The candidates should enter basic details and upload scanned copy of required documents.
