SSC Stenographer Age Limit

Stenographer Grade C: 18 to 30 years. i.e., candidates born not before 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2006 are eligible to apply.
Stenographer Grade D: 18 to 27 years i.e., Candidates born not before 02.08.1997 and not later than 01.08.2006 are eligible to apply.
The Upper Age Relaxation – 05 Years for SC / ST, 03 Years for OBC and Plus 10 years for PwD.
SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have passed 12th standard (Matric with 12th class Pass) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University as on or before the cut-off date i.e. 17.08.2024.

SSC Stenographer Application Fee
₹ 100/- only for General / OBC candidates.
No fee for SC, ST, PwD, ESM and all women candidates.
The fee should be made through online payment mode using BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay Debit cards.
How to Apply
Eligible interested should through the SSC official website (ssc.gov.in).
To apply, visit the SSC official website (ssc.gov.in) and click on the “Apply” button located in the Quick Links section. Next, select “Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination, 2024” and click on “Apply”.
Log in using your User Name (Registration Number) and Password. New users should click on “Register Now” to complete a one-time registration process with SSC.
Candidates must fill in their basic, personal, and communication details, and upload a scanned colour passport-size photograph, signature, and other required documents.
