Level – 3, Level – 4, Level – 6, Level – 10, Level – 14.
NIT Silchar Eligibility Criteria:
Registrar: Officers under the Central / State Governments / Universities / Recognized Research institutes or institutes of national importance or Govt. laboratory or PSU.
Librarian: Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation. Holding analogous post OR At least 10 years experience.
Assistant Registrar: Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade.
Technical Officer: B.E. / B.Tech. / M.Sc. in relevant field or MCA Degree with first class or equivalent grade.
Technical Assistant: First Class or equivalent Grade in B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in the relevant subject (OR) First Class Diploma (OR) First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Science (OR) Master’s Degree in Science.
Junior Engineer: First Class B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil / Electrical Engineering (OR) First Class Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering.
SAS Assistant: First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education. Strong record of participation in sports and drama/music/films/painting / Photography/journalism event management or other student/ event management activities during college / University studies.
Superintendent: First Class Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent (OR) Master’s Degree in any discipline.
Senior Technician: Senior secondary (10+2) with Science (OR) 10th with ITI Certificate (OR) Diploma in Engineering.
Senior Assistant: Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with a minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet.
Stenographer: Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with the minimum speed in shorthand 80 w.p.m. in Stenography.
Technician: Senior secondary (10+2) with Science (OR) 10+2 with ITI Certificate (OR) Diploma in Engineering.
Junior Assistant: Senior secondary (10+2) with a minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet.
