Assistant: Pay Level-6 (₹ 35,400 – 1,12,400)
Technician-1: Pay Level -2 (₹ 19,900 – 63,200)

NIOH Eligibility Criteria:
Assistant: Minimum three years Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution. Working knowledge of computers (MS Office/ PowerPoint).
Technician-1: 12th or intermediate pass in Science with 55% marks from a government-recognized board, plus a one-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), Computer, Chemical Technology, or Industrial Safety from a government-recognized institution.
Laboratory Attendant-1: 10th pass with 50% marks from a government-recognized board, and one year of working experience in a government-recognized/approved laboratory, or ITI certification in the respective field issued by government agencies.
NIOH Selection Process:
Selection for the NIOH Regular posts will be based on a written test. The test will be of 100 marks, consisting of 100 objective/ MCQ-type questions, with each correct answer awarding one mark. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. The written tests will be conducted exclusively in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.
