The Age Relaxation – SC: 5 years relaxation (32 years), OBC: 3 years relaxation (30 years), PwBD: 10 years (15 years for SC, 13 years for OBC), Widows/Divorced Women (not remarried): Up to 35 years (40 years for SC), -Servicemen: As per GoI/CSIR rules.
IITR Pay Scale
Pay Level Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC (Approx. Rs 50200/ emoluments on minimum of scale including TA as applicable in Class ‘Y’ Cities and DA as applicable to Central Government Staff.
The posts carry usual Pay and Allowances, such as Dearness Allowance etc., at Central government rates as an Employees and as made applicable to the employees of Council. Other benefits, such as Leave Travel Concession and Reimbursement of Medical Expenses (as per CGHS/CSMA Rules), are also available. The employees are provided with residential accommodation, subject to availability, as per CSIR rules.2. CSIR provides excellent opportunities Administrative Services Recruitment & Promotion (ASRP) Rules, 2020. All new entrants will be governed by the “New Pension Scheme” by the Government of India and adopted by CSIR vide their letter number 17/68/2001 dated 23.12.2003 and other instructions issued on the subject from time to time.

10+2 (Matriculation with 12th Class) / XII Pass or equivalent with proficiency in Stenography (English or Hindi) as per DoPT/CSIR norms.
