35 years for General Category.

38 years for SC / ST / SEBC / PH / Ex-servicemen.

High Court of Gujarat Pay Scale: 

₹ 77,840/ – 1,36,520/ as admissible under the Rules.

High Court of Gujarat Educational Qualifications:

Degree in Law from a University recognized by law in India.

Must be practicing as an Advocate in Courts of Civil and / or Criminal Jurisdiction.

Candidates, who have passed the Degree in Law from the academic year 2009­-2010 and onwards, must have also passed the All-India Bar Examination, in order to be considered eligible for being termed as a Practicing Advocate (OR) must be working in the Courts or other Allied Departments on the last date fixed for receipt of applications.

Must possess Certificate(s), certifying to be possessing Basic Knowledge of Computer Application / Operation.

Viva Voce (Oral Interview) Test.

Preliminary Exam Details:

(1) The Preliminary Examination (Elimination Test) shall be of 100 Marks, the duration whereof will be 02 Hours, consisting of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) each of 01 Mark with a Negative Marking of 0.33 Mark for each Wrong / Multiple Answer.
(2) The language of the Question Paper of the Preliminary Examination will be English Only.
(3) Preliminary Examination Paper (Objective Type) shall be assessed/evaluated by the computer, as per entries made on OMR Sheet.

High Court of Gujarat Application Fee:

₹ 1000/- plus Bank charges for General / OBC Category candidates.

₹ 500/­ plus Bank Charges are required to be paid by the Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Socially & Educationally Backward Classes, Physically Disabled Persons (PH), and Ex­-Servicemen Categories.

The fee can be made through Online Payment or Cash ­Challan (Offline).
