Age Limit:

Professor/ Additional Professor: Not exceeding 58 years.
Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 50 years.
Age Relaxation – 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD.

Professor: Pay Level – 14 ₹ 1,44,200 – 2,18,200/-
Associate Professor: Pay Level – 13A ₹ 1,31,400 – 2,10,800/-
Assistant Professor: Pay Level – 10 ₹ 57,700 – 92,500/-

DU Educational Qualifications:

For Professor:

(1) An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline.
(2) Minimum 10 years teaching experience.

For Associate Professor:

(1) An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline.
(2) Minimum 08 years teaching experience.

For Assistant Professor:

(1) A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) n a concerned/ relevant / allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
(2) The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted UGC or CSIR (OR) Ph.D. degree.
