Bihar Police Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or passed an equivalent State Government recognized examination on or before 1st August 2023.
Bihar Police Selection Process:
- Preliminary Examination: This is an objective-type written examination that tests candidates on subjects like General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Mathematics, and Reasoning.
- Main Examination: The main examination is a more detailed written examination that assesses candidates on various subjects related to law enforcement, such as General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, and Mental Ability.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who pass the written exams are required to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test, which assesses their physical fitness through tasks like running, long jump, high jump, and more.
- Interview: A personal interview is conducted to evaluate candidates’ suitability for the SI position. This interview assesses their knowledge, communication skills, and overall demeanor.
- Document Verification: Candidates are required to provide necessary documents to verify their eligibility and qualifications.
- Medical Examination: A medical examination is conducted to ensure that candidates meet the physical and medical standards required for the SI role.
