Job Summary
Amazon is seeking a senior account management professional to maintain and develop existing relationships with our key Fuse partners based in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Thailand. The ideal candidate is a business executive with proven ability in building and strengthening external partnerships, preferably in or has working experience with the mobile industry. Amazon Fuse is a horizontal, centralized channel developed to grow Amazon subscriptions and services through distribution partnerships. Fuse’s mission is to accelerate adoption of Amazon products and services by acquiring incremental customers through subscription distribution deals with mobile operators (MOs), multi-channel video programming distributors (MVPDs), device manufacturers (OEMs), and other 3P partners (ie. FINSERV, retailers, energy). Expansion through Amazon Fuse spans the eco-system of Amazon products, including shopping, video, music, gaming, and other services TBD.
As the Sr. Account manager, your responsibilities will include the following:
• Serve as primary point of contact of account management for Amazon Fuse partners based in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand.
• Assist with building, executing a go-to-market distribution plan for addressing mobile distribution opportunities and coordinate the successful implementation and optimization of all projects with the partner
• Will be the main point of contact for the partner on behalf of other Amazon teams, including Marketing, Finance, Legal, Technical, Operations and Product teams
• Co-ordinate closely with various internal stakeholder teams across function
• Work in close partnership with regional BD leader/s to drive overall strategic relationships and outcome management
• Deliver business reviews to the senior leadership team with account updates and progress
• Experience in complex contract liaison involving legal, operations and marketing teams.
• Strongly developed organizational & communication skills
• Self-motivated with an orientation to deliver results
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related business area or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in the mobile, e-commerce or digital media industries
- Strong bias for action, and ability to work independently toward stated goals with minimal oversight
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with all teams and at all levels, both internally and externally
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-participant projects
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing (channels, campaigns, messaging, performance measurement)
- Excellent analytical skills and good grasp of mobile operator business models
- Commercial acumen and excellent negotiation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working with digital subscription services
- Marketing background, experience delivering Go To Market campaigns
of rapidly scaling teams while also scaling themselves and the HR team to stay a step ahead;
- Maintaining relentlessly high standards with a high degree of integrity, personally and professionally;
- Always learning, curious and positive.
