Job Profile
The successful candidates will be attached with the Hon’ble Judges at Allahabad or Lucknow Bench, Lucknow, and shall discharge their duties under the directions of the Judge to whom they may be attached. The Research Associates will be required to carry out research work on legal points and principles as desired by the Judge to whom they may be attached.
Besides attending the Chamber of the Judge, the Research Associate would be required to attend hearing to take notes, etc. The research work assigned to the Research Associate may include performing legal research, drafting, preparation of note sheets, study of statutes, etc.
Assistance from the Research Associate may also be taken in proper maintenance of case files, preparation, research of academic papers, maintaining a record of judgments, the points of law decided in various judgments by a Judge, etc.
Apart from duties and responsibilities enumerated above, the
Research Associate shall perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Judge.
Allahabad High Court Honorarium
Fixed honorarium of Rs. 25,000/- per month (subject to upward revision) without any allowances or perquisites such as residential accommodation, etc.
The engagement shall be purely contractual for the duration of one year which may be extended by one year, subject to satisfactory performance.
The maximum term will not exceed two years. However, the engagement may be terminated at any time, without prior notice.
Allahabad High Court Eligibility Criteria:
05 or 03 years Graduate (Degree) in Law with 55% marks from any Law College or University recognised by Bar Council of India.
Final Year Candidates who may have appeared in LL.B. Examination in 2025 and may be awaiting results, may also apply.
Computer Knowledge – The Candidates must have working knowledge of Computer Applications involving Data Entry, Word Processing and similar computer operations.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 26 years as on 1st July 2025.
