Probationary Engineers (Electronics)      200

Probationary Engineers (Mechanical)      150

BEL Age Limit:

Maximum 25 years as on 1st January 2025.
The Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates and Plus 10 years for PwBD candidates.

BEL Salary:

E-II Grade ₹ 40,000 – 3% – 1,40,000/-. CTC: 13 Lacs Per Annum.

BEL Educational Qualifications:

Probationary Engineer (Electronics): B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering Graduate in Electronics and Communication.
Probationary Engineer (Mechanical): B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering Graduate in Mechanical discipline.

For PROBATIONARY ENGINEER post, UR / OBC (NCL) / EWS candidates with First class in B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering Graduate from AICTE approved Colleges in Electronics /Electronics and Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Communication /Telecommunication / Mechanical disciplines.

Candidates with first class in AMIE / AMIETE / GIETE in the above disciplines are also eligible to apply. SC/ST/PwBD candidates with Pass class in the above degree / disciplines are eligible to apply. Note: Other equivalent disciplines and dual specializations will NOT be considered.

Candidates currently studying in the final semester / final year of BE / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering in the specializations mentioned above and who will be appearing for their final semester/final year exams in the month of May/June 2025 are also eligible to apply. In the event of selection, the candidates are required to produce the Degree Certificate/Provisional Degree Certificate at the time of Joining.

Calculation of percentage of marks in the qualifying degree would be governed by Institute/University rules. For candidates currently pursuing, the marks shall be calculated till 6th/7th Semester at the time of interview. Wherever final marks in the qualifying degree have been awarded as letter grade(CGPA/GPI/SGPA etc.), equivalent percentage of marks shall be adopted from conversion formula issued by respective Institute/University for establishing eligibility criteria. Such

candidates would be required to submit the conversion certificate issued by the concerned Institute/University at the time of Interview, if shortlisted. Failure to submit the conversion certificate will result in disqualification of candidature.
