SBI PO Job Description & Vacancies

SBI PO Age Limit

Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years as on 01.04.2024 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2003 and not earlier than 02.04.1994 (both days inclusive).

Upper Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen, 03 years for OBC and Plus 10 years for PwBD.

SBI PO Salary

The starting basic pay is ₹ 48,480/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of ₹ 48480-2000/ 7-62480-2340/ 2-67160-2680/ 7-85920 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I.

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria

(As on 30.04.2025)

Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree) in any discipline or equivalent qualification from a university / institute recognized by a Central Government.

Fresher Graduates and Final Year / Semester Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 30.04.2025.

Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 30.04.2025.

Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant etc. would also be eligible.

SBI PO Selection Process

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
Phase-II: Scheme of Main Examination
Phase-III: Psychometric Test, Group Exercise, Personal Interview.

Exam Pattern

Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 3 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:-

Phase II – SBI PO Main Exam

(Duration – 03 Hours)

Application Fee

Nil for SC / ST / PWD category candidates.
₹ 750/- (Application Fee including intimation charges) for General / EWS / OBC category candidates.
The fee should be made through online payment mode using Net Banking / Credit / Debit Card etc.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates should register online application through SBI IBPS Online Portal.

The candidates are required fill basic, personal and qualification details.

The candidates should upload relevant documents (photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression & hand-written declaration etc.).
