Western Railway Age Limit:

15 to 24 years as on 10th February 2024.
Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PwD.

Western Railway Stipend:

Northern Railway Apprentice Salary, Monthly Stipend as per Apprentice Act 1961.

For direct recruitment from the open market to Level-1 positions (₹ 18,000 – Rs. 56,900), candidates who have completed the Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA) at Railway Establishments and hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) will be given preference in filling 20% of the vacancies, provided they meet the qualifications set by RRB/RRC.

Western Railway Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates must have passed Matriculation / 10th class examination or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.

Candidates must have passed ITI in relevant trade issued by NCVT / SCVT recognized by Government of India.

Western Railway Selection Process:

Screening and Scrutiny of the application.
There will be no Written Test of Viva.
The selection on the basis of merit prepared taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidate in both Matriculation / SSC / 10th and ITI giving equal weight age to both.

Western Railway Application Fee:

₹ 100/- for General / OBC category candidates.
No fee for SC / ST / PwBD / Women candidates.
The fee should be made through online mode.

Eligible candidates should apply online through Western Railway RRC Recruitment Portal (www.rrc-wr.com).

Candidates are required to upload their colour photograph and Signature.

The candidates must upload required documents / certificates (Date of Birth, SSC, ITI Mark Sheet, NCVT / SCVT, Community Certificate) with the online application.
