Assam Police Eligibility Criteria:
Sub Inspector of Police: Graduate in Arts /Science/ Commerce or equivalent stream.
Constable (UB): Higher Secondary or 12th Class Pass.
Constable (AB): H.S.L.C (Matric) or Class-X Pass.
Constable of Police (Communication): Higher Secondary (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM).
Constable (Dispatch Rider): HSLC or equivalent examination passed and must possess a valid driving license for LMV MMV or HMV.
Constable (Messenger): HSLC or equivalent examination passed and must possess a valid driving license for LMV MMV or HMV.
Constable (Carpenter): SLC or equivalent examination passed + ITI course in relevant trade.
Assistant Deputy Controller: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce.
Civil Defence Demonstrator / Wireless Operator:
Havilder: Matriculation / H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed.
Nurse: Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM).
Laboratory Technician: Passed Laboratory Technician Course.
Teacher: HSSLC Passed & Jr. Basic Training Certificate.
Craft Instructor: HSLC Passed + Certificate in Bamboo & Cane work / Tailoring/ Weaving/ Soap making.
Tractor Operator: HSLC Passed + Tractor Driving License.
Driver Constable: HSLC or equivalent examination passed and must possess a valid driving license for LMV MMV or HMV.
Cook (SDRF): Read up to Class VI from a recognized School or Institution and the maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed
Grade IV Staff: Minimum Class VIII passed + Minimum two-year certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institution (ITI) / Vocational Institute will carry 5 marks.
Safai Karmachari / Sweeper: Minimum Class VI passed.
