GIMS Recruitment 2023 for 255 Staff Nurses

GIMS – The Government Institute of Medical Sciences has published an advertisement on their website for Staff Nurses to fill up 255 positions at GIMS, Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh).

Online applications are invited from Indian citizens for selection through an online examination for the ‘Staff Nurse’ positions. The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in 2023.

GIMS Salary: 

Level 7, Basic ₹ 44,900 – 1,42,400/-

GIMS Eligibility Criteria:

(1) A 4-year B.Sc. Degree in Nursing from an Institute or University recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or Medical Faculty, or a 2-year B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic). The candidate must be registered as a Nurse and midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council. [OR]

(2) A Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (G.N.M) from an Institute/Board/Council recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. Additionally, the candidate should have two years of experience in a minimum 50-bed hospital after acquiring the educational qualification. The candidate must also be registered as a Nurse and midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.

GIMS Selection Process:

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will have a duration of 2 hours and will be worth 100 marks. It will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), as follows:

  • 80% of the questions will pertain to the Theory of Nursing knowledge.
  • 20% of the questions will relate to the Practical application of Nursing work, with 10% of them focusing on COVID-related tasks.
  • There will be no negative marking.
  • The examination will be conducted in both English and Hindi languages.
