Indian Navy Probation Period:
The Probation period for SSC (IT) Officers is 02 years. The probation period will commence from the date of grant of the rank of Sub Lieutenant and will terminate after 02 years or on completion of initial training (whichever is later).

M.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech (Computer Science / Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / IT / Software Systems / Cyber Security / System Administration Networking / Computer Systems & Networking / Data Analytics / Artificial Intelligence) (OR) MCA with BCA / B.Sc. degree in Computer Science / IT.
Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in overall qualifying marks.
Indian Navy Selection Process:
(1) Shortlisting of applications will be based on normalized marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree.
(2) Shortlisted candidates will be called for SSB Interviews through email or SMS.
(3) Merit list would be prepared based on SSB Marks.
